Young boxer hitting pads with a coach

Is your child thinking about starting boxing? Here’s everything you need to know about our youth class, Youth Class, for kids and teens aged 10 to 16.

What happens in class?

The focus is on building a safe, solid foundation. The class is full of coordination and footwork drills, basic boxing and partner exercises that strengthen mind, technique and body. No experience needed – the class suits all levels.

Why boxing is great for young people

  • Coordination and motor skills: hands, feet and eyes have to work together.
  • Focus: pad combinations make you listen and concentrate.
  • Confidence: you get a little better every class – and you notice it.
  • Community: you train together and in pairs, and make new friends.

When do you train?

  • Tuesdays 17:00–18:00
  • Saturdays 11:00–12:00

Always check the current schedule.

Who are the coaches?

The classes are led by Johanna Mounzer and Ulf Brant. Johanna recently received the City of Malmö’s award Årets Eldsjäl Idrott 2026. Meet all our coaches.

How much does it cost?

As a new member you can try a full week for 50 SEK (once only, from age 10). After that you choose a youth membership – from 550 SEK a month. See all prices.

How do we get started?

  1. Register the person who will train on Get started. If they are under 18, you fill in your details as a guardian too.
  2. Buy the trial week (50 SEK) in the Glofox app.
  3. Book the first class in Glofox.

Gloves and pads are available to borrow, so you don’t need to buy anything to try it.

And after 16?

From 16 you can choose an adult membership and train in all adult classes, or keep the youth membership and stay in the youth classes until you feel ready.
